WHAT IS PB PARTY?
The annual #PBParty contest, hosted by Mindy Alyse Weiss, a PB & MG Author, is for un-agented writers and authors/illustrators with finished and polished picture book manuscripts or dummies. You submit an entry (query letter, dummy, two finished illustrations, and first 60-70 words of MS). The judges narrow down over 1000 submissions to 20 illustrators for the showcase and about 35 for authors. Finalists are posted publicly for selected agents/editors to read and hopefully request.
